Our vineyards

On the border of the hilly Danube Valley and the Ludogorie, along the river of Rusenski Lom and its affluents the nature has created one of its masterpieces - the picturesque valley of the Lom rivers. In the course of million years, water, wind and earth movements patiently modeled a magnificent canyon. With many turns, intersecting the thick limestone layer, the river slowly meanders among quiet forests, white rocks and lush meadows. This miraculous place is the Nature Park Rusenski Lom. The park is located between the villages of Pisanets, Nisovo, Svalenik, Cherven, Koshov, and Ivanovo along the river valleys of Beli, Malki, Cherni and Rusenski Lom. We have chosen the virgin nature of Nisovo, huddled in the heart of the Nature Park, to plant our vineyards and our winery.

We selected south-facing plots with limy soils where the sun tenderly fills every cluster of grapes with sweetness. We planted 148 ha of young vines. We entrusted our choice of vines to a French nursery which has more than 100 years of experience. Our vines are planned in such a way that the grape can ripen properly and gradually accumulate fine aromas.

Every year we strictly control the grape production not to exceed 7000 kg per ha in order to produce grapes with excellent taste.

The main grape varieties that we plant are Sauvignion Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
